So now about me
I have been breeding and showing Rough collies for around 25 years, I have had alot of success in the ring, but i show my dogs for fun, as both they and myself enjoy it. As i am now old (Lol) i have a young lady who shows my dogs as well as her own and she even co-owns some with me .I have a yearly round up of our best results at the shows these you will find on the home page.
I have also ventured into the world of the Smooth collie, there details are again on there own pages and each has also been DNA tested and there results are also on there own pages under the Smooth banner so please take a look

I do have stud dogs in all three colours again all DNA tested and there co-efficient results added the lower the percentage the better diversity, and i am in the process of having all the collies hip scored those i have had done the results will be on there pages. if you wish to use a stud then pedigree and DNA paperwork will be sent upon request.
I do have pups occasionally and are sold as pets, they enjoy a fun life with pursuits like Flyball, agility, search and rescue dogs, pets as therapy dogs and scent work so you see they can cope with many actitivies.
I do run a waiting list for the rough / smooth and toftys so contact me on email ( in the contact section)

Puppies are the future, they are also your future family member. I select the parents very carefully as i want to produce the very best i can. Pups are born in my home and continually live with me untill there 6 weeks old, when they are moved to large indoor kennels, they spend all the time with mum for as long as mum wants. She is the driving force where there welfare is concerned and she is the one that teaches the pups how to behave with other dogs. Mum teaches them to be independant she teaches manners how to speak dog, how to interact with people as pups learn by copying. Pups learn everything from mum.
Once the pups reach 6 weeks they then go out onto the field to explore and play and to be around the other dogs. During the day they also spend time in the kennels but always come back indoors at night. They then start to spend time away from mum. I expose them to as much noise, sights like the tv radio hoover mops, brooms, they also go for car rides to get used to travelling. My friends often visit so they get to see other people. There also taught to enjoy grooming and to have nails cut This i do before there eyes are opened. I do not vaccinate my pups before they leave me, they are wormed and de flea-ed the naturel way. They usually leave me around 9 to 10 weeks old I keep in contact all there life, U offer free holidays just want there food. And if you cant keep them in the future for what ever reason i will ALWAYS take them back.
